I told him that they should change suppliers. The chef then came out and showed me two other raw ribeyes, which also had the spinalis removed. She brought me another steak and it also had the spinalis removed. I responded that a ribeye should contain a cap and the menu should specify if it is trimmed off. I asked the server about it and she said that is just the way the meet is trimmed from the supplier. The best part of a ribeye, the cap (spinalis) had been removed. It was perfectly cooked to medium rare with good seasoning.
not mention this to the server though.įor dinner I ordered the 16 oz bone-in prime ribeye. No excuse for a nice restaurant to forget that. A Manhattan should contain a Luxardo cherry. I was well made with one nice large square ice cube, but there was one problem, there was no cherry.
